I am laughing because I am older of what they think. Sometimes you realize that it is not always the money to make you happy but the quality you set into your life that makes a difference. I am just ordinary person with simple dreams and aspiration, but I am here ready to provide testament on the journey of life.

Here are the tips that I can share coming from Healthy Lifestyle that shape my life:

  1. Daily exercise for 30 minutes.
  2. Take a 30-minute walk with a smile every day
  3. Sleep 8 hours
  4. Eat food on smaller portion to protect your health
  5. Daily drink 8 glasses of water
  6. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants, and eat less food that is manufactured in plants
  7. Live with 3 E’s Energy, Enthusiasm and Empathy
  8. Make time for prayer and reflection
  9. Play more games, practice yoga, avoid salt and sugar, and don’t drink soda
  10. Read more books
  11. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day
  12. Don’t compare your life to other. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
  13. Time heals everything
  14. Don’t take yourself so seriously; no one else does.
  15. Don’t waste your precious energy in gossip
  16. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
  17. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don’t hate others.
  18. Make peace with your past, so it won’t spoil the present.
  19. No one is in charge of your happiness except you
  20. However good or bad the situation is, it will change.
  21. Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed.
  22. Call your family often
  23. Each day give something to others.
  24. What other people think of you is none of your business.
  25. Life isn’t fair, but its still good.

I know life is not perfect, I suffered hardship still at this point of time. But I know I have provided guidelines for my readers that they can smile everyday to show that they are ready to fight on this call life!

Drink plenty of water. If working outside, at least two cups per hour.

• Do not keep water bottles under the sun. Store your water in a cool dry place.

• Eat Fresh Foods. Nutrition helps regulate the way your body responds to heat. Generally, avoid salt, sodium, oily and spicy foods. Fresh fruits and vegetables are highly recommended.

• Summer snacks. Try some fun and refreshing summer snacks that your entire family can enjoy. Fresh smoothies are easy to prepare by blending a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Nuts are everywhere this summer and it is perfect as a tasty snack between meals, and research has shown that they may keep you full longer.

• See your doctor. Schedule an appointment for a check-up to avoid any sickness or pain that may spoil your summer.

• Go lite with alcohol. Skip hard alcohol during summer and select light, chilled alcoholic beverage. Red wine is good for the heart.

• Do exercise. Warm weather means that you can spend more outdoor activities like walking, running and cycling. Regular exercise can improve your health and reduce the risk of developing different diseases.

• Schedule your activities. Work in the sunshade where possible and schedule regular breaks. If going for the beach adventure, it is better to do early morning.
• Use sunscreen protection. Whether you are working or at the beach it is ideally to use a mid to high range SPF sunscreen and follow application instructions to ensure that you remain protected from harmful UV rays.
• Wear appropriate clothing. When venturing out, light color cotton clothes are highly recommended. Remember to always wear your hat outside.

• Protect your eyes. Wear suitable eye wear protection. When engaging outdoor activities, wear sunglasses that block at least 99% of ultraviolet A and B rays.

• Offline mode. Switch off your mobile phones and explore the world without hashtags, selfies and videos. Interact normally with your family and friends without technology as what people does in the old age.

• Sleep well. Sleeping is very essential to individuals. Research shows that consistently getting 7 to 8 hours of sleep per night is beneficial for adults.

• Plan your vacation. Vacation can help you recharge and temporarily get rid your stress from work. This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy your time with family and friends.
