How to Get OWWA eCard

To my fellow OFW, below are the steps on how to apply OWWA eCard

  1. On your browser, type http://ecard.owwa.gov.ph. Make sure that you are active member of OWWA in order to avail this card.
  2. Fill up the required information and select pick-up location nearest you.
  3. No need to upload photo, OWWA will capture your passport photo stored in DFA database.
  4. Click I Accept the Data Privacy Policy and check I’m not a robot and click submit application
  5. If successful, OWWA will generate reference number for your application.
  6. Track the status of your application at http://ecard.owwa.gov.ph/applicationform/tracker.php using the reference number or your passport number and birth date.
  7. In my case, after 2 weeks of application the status of my ecard is ready for pick-up.
  8. Please visit your nominated pick-up location and collect your card. If you are not available or presently outside the Philippines, you may prepare authorization letter for your representative to pick-up on your behalf.
  9. Remember, this ecard is absolutely free and you don’t need to pay.
