Budots Dance of Bong Revilla, an Open Letter!

Please overhaul the election campaign process as it is still on feudal system where the “haciendero and haciendera” take the lead. Those who want to run for any candidacy must file their certificate on easy-fillable format, take the suggestion below so that the COMELEC and the taong bayan (countrymen) can easily analyze the candidate not only through their mouth by means of speeches but their background and agenda of governance.

Suggestions of most netizens, there must be a template on the speech and flyers for all the candidates when they are appearing on televisions, radio, advertisement, public forum and assembly. It must not be all the singing, dancing and the handsome most yelled by the people…all forms of entertainment must end during election campaign. Those who are familiar with the template for those applying visa abroad must have almost same questionnaires for candidates running for any position in government.

The template of speech and flyers must be in this format that every audience can analyze who are these candidates standing in front of them:

  1. Notarized amount of money in the bank, personal asset, properties and debt or loan of the running candidates.
  2. Pending cases and conviction, enumerate please.
  3. Controversial action committed as individual, enumerate and declared please (e.g involve in drug addiction, padrino, protecting illegal loggers and drug dealers, street fight and argument with someone on the street, calling and influencing custom to release items not related to his/her own, cuddling endanger species, advocate quarrying and illegal mining).
  4. Agenda in Running the Position plus budget requirement in each project proposal (required to have equivalent money to determine the interest of the candidates).
  5. Declared amount of money to be used for election campaign.
  6. Enumerate sponsors for the election then declare connection and affinity (to that person and corporation) with equivalent amount of money opposite to the name of the sponsor (create a separate sheet if more than 10 persons and corporations).
  7. Family connections in Government (whether on any positions from top to bottom).
  8. Family connections in Private Corporations (whether on any positions from top to bottom).
  9. Highest Educational Attainment.
  10. Latest Job Position and years of experience.

This template must be submitted to Comelec, oath and notarized equipped with proof of supporting evidence. This will serve as a flyer of every candidate and must be the center of all speeches for every campaign in the metro and provinces. Bestfriend JPs and OFWs around the world, we need to curve the style of campaign on the format understandable by many Filipinos.
