As per Memorandum Order No 10-10-2017 of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), all telecom providers with “02” Area Code shall be migrated from 7-digit telephone numbers to 8-digit telephone numbers. This migration is to address the insufficient number of assignable exchange codes.

For PLDT subscribers just add 8, for Globe Landline subscribers just add 7 and for Bayan subscribers just add 3 at the start of your existing telephone number.

For example, Jericho’s Place Condotel reservation landline number is 546-3204, but effective October 6, 2019 it will be converted to 8546-3204.

PLDT subscribers with “02” area code covers Metro Manila, Rizal Province, San Pedro, Laguna and Bacoor City, Cavite.

Callers outside the Philippines will have to dial the following:  00 + Country Code (63) + Area Code (2) + 8 digits landline number.
